POSITION: PROCUREMENT OFFICER Ref: PO/2011/09
An energetic, hardworking, reliable and intelligent individual to serve as a Procurement Officer.
Position Summary
The focus of the position is to develop and implement purchasing policy and strategy, to co-ordinate purchasing practices and to maximize savings and benefits available to the company from purchasing activities.

Responsibilities shall include but is not limited to the acquisition of products and services, stock evaluation and control, material flow reports, market evaluation, negotiating with vendors for purchase orders, development of bidders list, potential supplier evaluation and competitiveness assessment.
Essential requirements for the role:
  • At least 5 years relevant experience
  • HND/BSc in Purchasing and Supply, Economics, Business Administration or Agricultural Extension.
  • A Postgraduate degree in the same field, or MBA and membership of a recognized professional body will be an added advantage.
  • Candidate must be conversant with and experienced in strategic sourcing and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of the relevant laws and regulatory policies regarding different products and standards.

A strong individual that possesses interpersonal, managerial and communications skills to serve as a Human Resources Officer.
Position Summary
The Human Resources shall provide advice, training and guidance to the business on regulatory matters and provide support for all aspects of HR administration or related activities such as recruitment, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.
Essential requirements for the role:
  • At least 3 years cognate experience is required.
  • BA/B.Sc. Social Sciences, Public Administration/ Management or related field, MBA is an added advantage.

Position Summary
The Financial Officer will be responsible for the timely recording of transactions, preparation and analysis of data to produce management and financial reports that will aid decision making.
Other duties of the selected candidate shall be the preparation of monthly financial statements including cash flow statements, financial reports and other analyses to the group office for consolidation; compilation of budgets, target and forecast, and preparation of monthly management account for performance measurement and monitoring
Essential requirements for the role:
  • At least 6 years experience 3 of which must have been in manufacturing.
  • Experience in cost and management accounting function is critical
  • BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Mathematics.
  • Professional Accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or its equivalent.
  • The candidate must have excellent knowledge and be a good user of Microsoft Excel; exposure to one or more computerized accounting packages is essential.
  • A self-motivated professional with good communication/presentation skills and ability to take initiative and work with little or no supervision.
  • Maintain necessary and proper books of records and appropriate ledgers.
  • Accurate computation and prompt remittance of all charges, taxes and returns relevant authorities including VAT, WHT, CITA, PAYE and Pensions as appropriate.

Position Summary
The Production Officers will assist the Production Manager in the coordination and management of plant operations including machining, assembly, receiving, stores, tool room and maintenance consistent to improve the plant’s performance in shipping, inventory, and throughput.
Other duties of the role will include Inspecting products to verify conformance to specifications and direct setup and adjustments of machines, studying production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job assignment, Interpreting specifications, prints, and job orders to workers, establishing work procedures to meet production schedules and recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
