Job description
The candidate will be the technical representative of the company. He will supervise the planning team and coordinate the maintenance operation. He will be responsible for on site management of the contractors in terms of administrative, operational, coordination and overall management.He finally will oversee and also give key focus on QA/QC and HSE rules.
This position is offshore.
Responsibilities
- To represent the CONTRACTOR on all technical site issues and activities.
- To represent the CONTRACTOR on all HSE management activities on site.
- He is responsible for the on-site management of the CONTRACTOR’s maintenance teams (administrative, operational, coordination, professional).
- Under the authority of the COMPANY Maintenance Superintendent, he organizes and plans maintenance
- Operations on site, whether these are carried out by his own teams or by outside teams.
- He guarantees that the HSE rules and operating procedures in force in the COMPANY are respected, as well
- As the regulations in force in the CONTRACTOR’s QA/QC handbook.
- He will report to the company’s maintenance superintendent on basic technical issues and work with contractor teams to resolve such issues.
Qualifications et experience
- Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent.
- 10 years’ experience in the field of maintenance on offshore oil and gas production installations,
- A knowledge of the principles related to the process and equipment of oil and gas treatment installations
- SAP/R3 experience and know-how
- Ability to direct/lead large multinational teams
- Ability to work in a service relationship.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
- Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site
- Working language: English.
- Must have a proven sense of responsibility and talent for management.
- Must be rigorous and methodical in his approach to operations, show common sense and be able to anticipate and analyze issues.
- A natural, flexible authority is essential.
